Grant Wood
Co-Founder & CEO
With over 20 years of experience in real estate investment, development, and asset management, Grant Wood established Stingray Asset Management in 2010, focusing on net lease commercial properties throughout the southeast US. Before founding Stingray, Grant played a pivotal role at Opus South Corporation, managing luxury high-rise condominium developments on Florida’s west coast, overseeing projects worth over $450 million from groundbreaking to completion.
A graduate of the Commercial Real Estate Program at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Grant’s professional network includes affiliations with the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Real Estate Investment Council, and more. Actively involved in community initiatives, he has served in leadership roles such as Chairman of the Clearwater Downtown Partnership and was appointed to various city committees, including the Coachman Park Enhancement Committee.
Beyond real estate, Grant is a dedicated triathlete and family man. He resides with his wife and three young children, cherishing family time at their lake home in central Florida and making bedtime stories a cherished nightly tradition.
Natalie Garcia
Co-Founder & COO
Before co-founding Stingray Asset Management, Natalie Garcia was instrumental in building and managing a large Family Office, where she expertly navigated complex financial strategies. Prior to this, she held the role of Executive Vice President of Acquisitions and Operations at Pretium Partners, the second-largest single-family landlord in the U.S. during her tenure. Natalie’s legal acumen is backed by dual civil and common law degrees from McGill University, followed by years of practicing law in New York.
Her career journey is as diverse as it is impressive. A 4-day vacation in St. Barths turned into a 5-year stay, where she rose to Director of Sales and Marketing at a premier 5-star hotel in the French West Indies. Additionally, her background includes military training as an infantry soldier in the Canadian Forces and a high school exchange year in Germany.
Fluent in English, French, German, and Spanish, Natalie is also a dedicated mother of three. Her multifaceted experience reflects her versatility and drive, bringing a wealth of knowledge to Stingray Asset Management’s operational leadership.
